Teacher Sponsors

We would like to thank all of the above teacher sponsors for volunteering and supporting the young entrepreneur students and teams at their school. This competition would not be possible without their participation and support!   

Teacher Sponsors Role includes:
  • Advertise the DD competition at their school (i.e. DD posters (provided), school newsletter, message boards etc...)
  • Host a DD information meeting for interested students/teams 
  • Familiarize students with the DD website, specifically the contest information, schedule and student resources
  • Ensure student teams register online by the deadline
  • Coach students and provide support with their product/service, marketing and financial plans
  • Host a practice presentation with community members or fellow colleagues at their school for teams before their first community mentorship presentation (April 5th)
  • Attend and support student teams at the Orientation, District Competition and Awards Ceremony
